Dr. Alessio Fasano, founder and medical director of the renowned University of Maryland's Center for Celiac Research, talks about his groundbreaking research into the prevalence of celiac disease in the United States in the current issue of Living Without magazine.

Fargo Marathon Goes Gluten Free

With its bevy of options for celiac runners, this year’s Fargo (ND) Marathon earned a newfound reputation as a gluten-free friendly event. The pre- and post-race festivities for the May 17th marathon featured gluten-free foods and educational materials about celiac disease, organized by the Red River Celiacs, a Gluten Intolerance Group in Fargo.
Are You a Parent of a Celiac Child?

A major goal of the American Celiac Disease Alliance is to improve the availability and access to gluten-free meals in schools for students with celiac disease. The ACDA has launched a brief online survey to find out who is providing lunch for students with celiac disease: parents, school, or a combination.
